Music fans and avid concert-goers might feel nostalgic of their youth when entering St. Andrew’s Hall, which has hosted thousands of musical performances over the years. Originally home to the Scottish Society of Detroit, this iconic music venue is located in Bricktown, close to the Detroit River and Greektown. Located less than a mile from Huntington Place, St. Andrew’s Hall can accommodate 25 to 1,000 guests. Our talented staff handles every detail of your event, so you don’t have to!

Venue Space Overview

This 8,871 square-foot, three-floor venue includes St. Andrew’s Hall Theater, The Shelter and The Society Room. Each space is the perfect location for your next corporate event, private concert, wedding, reception or business meeting. With access to the world’s greatest musical entertainment, full-service event production, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, custom menus and mixology, this unique venue will exceed expectations of even the most discerning guest.

St. Andrew’s Hall Theater

The entrance of the 3,568 square-foot hall has a hip, yet alternative vibe that lends itself well to private concerts and special events. The theater-style atmosphere works well for everything from intimate events of 100 guests to full venue buyouts accommodating up to 1,000. Two staircases lead up each side of the theater to a spacious balcony overlooking the floor. The event space can host receptions for 700 or 150 guests for a seated banquet.

The Society Room

Taking its name from the hall’s founders, this 1,363 square-foot space has its own private entrance from the main lobby or the Theater’s balcony. With historical touches like exposed brick, original floors and 100 year-old windows, this sexy lounge boasts an impressive bar with communal tables featuring stools and couches that can host a reception for up to 100 guests or 75 guests for a seated banquet. A DJ booth overlooks the room from a small balcony.

The Shelter

Famous for giving Eminem his start, this 3,940 square-foot venue offers a gritty-yet-exclusive ambience, with a large stage, open floor plan and a green room for artists. Accommodating 400-person receptions or a seated banquet for 100, the intimate venue is a unique setting for soirées of every description.
