The Capitol Theatre

The Capitol Theatre, located 22 miles outside New York City in Port Chester, New York, is a rock palace fit for any occasion. The theater was built in 1926, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Throughout its rich history, the theater has hosted concerts by such legends as Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder, Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead. The venue underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation creating an unparalleled concert and event experience. With a 2,000-person capacity, the room boasts a 65-foot domed ceiling, general admission or seated floor, elegant lobby, mezzanine bar, spacious lobby bar, a seated balcony with VIP seating, and six presidential booths. This bi-level venue also features state-of-the-art lighting, projection, sound, and video equipment.

The Capitol Theatre

The iconic Capitol Theatre accommodates special events for groups from 10 to 2,000 guests. The theater can accommodate a wide range of event types, including private concerts, corporate meetings, team-building off-sites, hybrid meetings with live streaming, educational workshops, incentive programs, fundraisers, holiday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, anniversary parties, engagement parties, retirement parties, epic weddings, and more. The legendary Capitol Theatre is also available for your next film/television shoot, music video shoot, concert film, theater/dance production, trade show/conference, or corporate team-building off-site.

Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre

In partnership with the family of Jerry Garcia, The Capitol Theatre christened its "lobby bar" as Garcia’s in honor of the late Grateful Dead guitarist and singer, who counted the Port Chester, N.Y., rock palace among his favorite venues in the country. Garcia’s, a spacious bar and event space of its own, is complete with a stage, vaulted skylights, festoon lights and in-house sound and lighting. Surrounding the black leather banquettes are exposed brick walls highlighted by instruments and rare rock photos.

The Mezz Bar

High above The Capitol Theatre’s beautiful lobby, is the Mezzanine Bar. This unique space features a beautiful 31′ bar, leather banquettes, and a dedicated sound system. Available for pre-show corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and events of any kind.Party with your friends before catching your favorite band! Let the music set the tone for this unique and seamless event experience. Open bar packages and catering options are available.
