Featuring more than 600 pieces of American folk art and distinctive Southern-inspired cuisine, House of Blues New Orleans offers the perfect location to host your next corporate event, private concert, social gathering, wedding, reception or private dinner. Located 1.4 miles from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, House of Blues New Orleans® accommodates 25 to 1,800 guests. Our talented staff handles every detail, so you don’t have to!

Venue Spaces Overview

Featuring 18,000 square-feet of flexible design space, House of Blues New Orleans is comprised of six distinctive environments including a VIP members-only club, a rocking Restaurant & Bar featuring contemporary and traditional Southern art and cuisine, three intimate and elegantly designed private event rooms, and a large, multi-story spectacular Music Hall. Each area features state-of-the-art staging, lighting and sound with lively bars throughout the entire venue.

Music Hall

Take your event center stage in the Music Hall! The Music Hall is a perfect blend of rock and sophistication, soulful design and historical folk art. The Music Hall is highlighted by a large concert stage, unique dance floor and the latest in audio & visual technology. This two-level 1,010 capacity state-of-the-art space is perfect for corporate events, product launches, presentations, large social gatherings and weddings.

Parish Room

Modeled after a cathedral in Essex, England, this soulful 2,448 square-foot room features an ornately decorated bar, stained glass, hand-painted murals and outlining panels that were commissioned to depict interpretations of the seven deadly sins. Adjacent to the Music Hall, the Parish has a private entrance and is ideal for intimate receptions up to 250 or a seated event for 80 guests.

Foundation Room

Elevate your taste for style and sophistication as the legendary Foundation Room rises to new heights where executives, socialites and exclusive VIP experiences are in total harmony under one posh roof. The size and aesthetic of the room make it the perfect location for intimate gatherings, wedding ceremonies, board room meetings or other special social occasions. The room contains a small stage with a state-of-the-art sound system, programmable ambient lighting, a large bar and flexible lounge seating.

Restaurant & Bar

The vibrant Restaurant & Bar features a full-service dining experience in this 2,494 square-foot space showcasing eclectic art and the renowned Blues God ceiling with bas-reliefs of more than 100 Blues legends. Offering multiple seating styles, House of Blues Restaurant & Bar provides the flexibility to host anything from a seated speaker series to a cocktail reception, wedding ceremony or reception, and more.

Voodoo Garden

Complete with a built-in stage and full bar, this 2,000 square-foot outdoor space is covered, offering year-round service for receptions up to 200 guests or seated gatherings for 100. As one of few public courtyards located in the French Quarter, the mystical garden is an ideal setting for a unique New Orleans-style experience.

Big Mama's Lounge

Named after American rhythm-and-blues singer-songwriter Big Mama Thornton, this 955 square-foot juke joint-style lounge, bar and stage features colorful accents and historic memorabilia. The intimate space is perfect for gatherings of up to 60 guests.
