At Live Nation Special Events, every day is a chance to celebrate diversity and inclusion. But with August being Black Business Month, we wanted to put a special spotlight on Black partners and vendors in our event pros community. More than just talented business leaders, these are community builders whose strength has inspired the Live Nation Special Events team all over the country. In 2012, Jermale Eddie started Malamiah Juice Bar to promote holistic wellness in his community through wholesome and delicious juices and food. This year, the Malamiah Juice Bar team joined forces with The Mitten Brewing Co. for the release of “The Shift” Pale Ale, made from a special blend of fruit and vegetables from the Malamiah kitchen. This uniquely tasty brew is sold at The Mitten and proceeds fund educational programs at NAACP Grand Rapids

OMG Booth is a traditional photo booth company that has evolved from local social event photography to working with global brands like IKEA, Coca-Cola, BET Awards and more. They’ve recently partnered with Silence the Shame, a nonprofit organization that focuses on education and awareness around mental health, creating 1,000 photos for their cause in just 48 hours. OMG Booth is owned by Mose James and his wife, who also happens to be a nurse on the frontlines of the fight against the pandemic.
