The historic Orpheum Theatre located in the heart of downtown Boston, has hosted such acts as Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, U2, and Paul Simon. The venue opened in 1852 and was built on the site of the old Boston Music Hall and it is the original home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. With a seated capacity of 2700 and a state of the art sound system, The Orpheum Theatre remains a popular venue for popular touring acts.
