CELEBRATE YOUR WEDDING DAY IN STUNNING STYLE AT HOUSE OF BLUES CLEVELAND

A COMPLETELY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

If you’re looking for an absolutely stunning way to celebrate your wedding day, find your “something blue” at House of Blues Cleveland. We understand that each couple is totally unique, and we believe that each wedding reception should be too. We create highly personalized moments that are an extension of your style, your tastes and your love for each other and your guests.

The southern rock and roll vibe at House of Blues serves as the perfect backdrop for whatever theme or decor you can dream up. “Couples who get married at the House of Blues tend to “think outside the box,” says Sales Manager Jen Ricky. “We allow wedding couples to bring their own décor into the venue. One couple had their first date at the House of Blues, so for their first dance we rented a low lying fog machine and timed a confetti cannon blast with a song that was special to them for their first dance.”

TWO UNIQUE SPACES TO CHOOSE FROM

House of Blues Cleveland has two unique spaces for your wedding reception and ceremony. Our Cambridge Room is ideal for weddings of 50-100 with formal seating. A popular option for a less traditional approach is a cocktail-style reception and a more casual setup that can comfortably accommodate up to 125 guests. Our Foundation Room can also provide an intimate setting for weddings under 30 guests.

BRIDAL PARTY DANCING

For a really beautiful wedding day and first-look photos that you can’t match anywhere else in Cleveland, we offer The House of Blues Foundation Room, a hip and eclectic lounge space filled with Persian rugs, antique Indian wedding quilts and statues. For a breezy, open-air photo opp, Jen suggests the patio. “Our Foundation Room patio overlooking East Fourth Street allows for a wonderful outdoor photo opportunity with downtown Cleveland as your backdrop,” she said.

NIGHTTIME COUPLE KISSING ON PATIO

For on-site ceremonies, most couples opt for the Cambridge room. “Most of our weddings are arranged in our Cambridge Room and the Music Hall,” Jen says. “In the Cambridge Room, we can use our grand fireplace or our elegant burgundy curtains as a backdrop to your ceremony.” In the Music Hall, couples can be married on the concert stage. “If the couple is really into music, it doesn’t get much cooler than getting married on our concert stage, where so many legendary artists have performed.” Both spaces make use of the House of Blues concert lighting system, which really creates a beautiful atmosphere for the occasion.

Both spaces are completely flexible, and Jen and her team are eager to collaborate with a couple to bring their vision to life. “I love when couples leave me with some liberty to get creative with their décor pieces. I work with our production team to use our house lighting to arrange accent lighting throughout the room and it really allows for our couples’ décor to pop.” She adds, “Sometimes couples have provided me with uncut floral and we’re able to make arrangements for empty tables or spaces in the room or arrange cascading flowers down a tiered wedding cake.”

SOUTHERN CHIC MENU

House of Blues’ Southern chic vibe extends to the menu. Our special event chef crafts traditional wedding options alongside our more famous dishes. “I always recommend the station dinner option for weddings, as this can give guests some variety and foods you don’t typically see at a wedding,” Jen says. “Like our jambalaya and buttermilk fried chicken, which are real crowd favorites.”

PORK BELLY ENTREE

WORLD-CLASS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

As one of the nation’s premier concert venues, House of Blues Cleveland always offers a world-class live entertainment experience for you and your guests. “We recommend a full list of local bands and DJs, depending on the couple’s vision. Our production techs will also arrange lighting based on the timeline for the evening, so the lighting will be softer during the early portion of the evening followed by ‘party lights’ when the dance floor opens,” Jen says.

For Jen and her team, success means creating an experience for you and your guests that will be cherished for a lifetime. “For one of our Music Hall weddings, the father of the bride arranged a surprise song for his daughter. He was a musician and he came to me with the request the day before the wedding,” she said. “We had to get a bit creative in how to keep things from the bride and arrange a sound check and rehearsal.”

“The surprise worked out fabulously, the dad came out on the stage and played his guitar while singing, “Daddy’s Little Girl” to the bride. It was a very special and sweet moment, and there were not too many dry eyes in the house! Moments like that, making those connections, we know we’ve delivered for our clients.”
